Diagrama Percutor es el nuevo disco de Ford Proco, el legendario dúo electrónico
tijuanense; el tercero en su discografía. El titulo es un juego de palabras que trata,
por un lado, de su intento por emular la parte melódica y los bajos con sonidos
percusivos, crear sub-bajos, muchas capas de ritmos y empalmarlas. Por otro,
refleja el proceso de elaboración del material: los bocetos o diagramas que
marcaban el rumbo que deberian llevar los temas, el trabajo individual y el
posterior manejo de esas mutaciones en el estudio.

“Shhh!!” es el segundo álbum de Lumen lab, un trabajo elaborado con cajas
de ritmo análogas, teclados de segunda o tercera mano, vocales amorfas y
un profundo trabajo electrónico desde la laptop. A diferencia de “Comiendo
algodón en la pista de baile” (álbum debut de 2004, uno de los discos más
arriesgados de la escena electrónica mexicana) Lumen lab ha logrado un
trabajo mucho más enérgico y disfuncional, otra forma de ver el electro y
el punk digital con la palabra “exploración” por delante.

Lumen Lab started back in 2000, when Diego Martínez was only 15. Teenage
angst had found its way out through a laptop and Lumen Lab became known

Israel M comenzó con Nebula3 a finales del 2002, proponiendo una fusión
del más gélido pop con las estructuras del IDM. Trip to Triton… and Nereida
fue su primer trabajo publicado, un EP de 6 tracks melancólicos y al mismo
tiempo esperanzadores.
Después de muchos conciertos por México y otras actividades como el proyecto
Aeropuerto y trabajos de arte sonoro y música experimental, Israel M comenzó
a componer el nuevo álbum de Nebula3 en 2005, orientándose más a crear
una muy particular visión del synth pop y la new wave pero con un toque
moderno.
Another way es el segundo disco de Nebula3 en donde se degusta el más fino
electro, trabajos de guitarras para altos vuelos, voces profundas, hasta cierto
punto enigmáticas y un perfecto juego que hace un disco muy orgánico para

The influences are quite clearly defined in the bio, listing “synth pop, new wave,
indie rock and ambient pop.” The repeated ‘pop’ reference is significant, as this is
clearly music where song and structure take precedence over sonic experimentation,

Lucrecia empezó su proyecto musical en solitario en la ciudad de
Medellín en Colombia, en el año 2003.
A partir de la publicación de algunos tracks en diferentes compilados
de música electrónica Colombiana como Latin Lovr Crw y Lounge.co
y después de la participación en el Encuentro de Sonidos Electrónicos
en Bogotá, decide publicar en diciembre de 2005 su primer disco bajo
el sello independiente de Medellín Series.

Actualmente esta trabajando en una nueva serie de canciones en las
que utiliza sonidos acústicos, experimentación con sonidos de objetos
y mayor exploracion vocal, mezclando todo esto con el sonido
caracteristico de su trabajo anterior.

Lucrecia tambien ha colaborado con proyectos mexicanos del colectivo
Nortec como son Latinsizer y Tre/molo remezclando canciones suyas y
con Jack's son del sello Abolipop records con algunas grabaciones vocales.

"Acerca" by Colombia based artist, Lucrecia. Electro sounds, random
noises and her own fluid vocal work mesh with a strong melodic sense
to create an intoxicating set by the newest arrival to milrecords.
Colombian native Lucrecia began her musical solo project in 2002 in
Medellin, where she resides. Her sound is based primarily in strong
melodies layered with interesting combinations using her own fluid vocals,
random noise and shades of electro-pop.
In the studio she uses mainly software for the electronic component of
her music, which is balanced by the use of melodica, guitar, flute and
harmonica, creating a nice balance of acostic and digital.

In 1977, a group of friends from Madrid's Santamarca Institute decided to form a
punk rock band called Alex y los Drugos, later turning into techno pop in a new
project known as Holoplástico, which changed its name to Aviador Dro soon
after. In 1980, La Chica de Plexiglás and La Visión became the group's first
records, followed by Programa en Espiral and Alas Sobre el Mundo. Two
years later, the band founded its own label, called Discos Radiactivos
Organizados (DRO). After issuing 1983's double album Síntesis, Aviador Dro
started touring around Spain, soon having the opportunity to open for
Stranglers and David Bowie. In the year 2000, Cosmos Records released a
tribute called Aviador Dro Re:Programado Robots Para los Atomos.

The Mexican electronic scene is really starting to grow into its own; but even though you can find out plenty about the Nortec Collective, Google names like Los Maestros Del Jet Set or Aquadelfin and you‘d better know how to read Spanish. A collaboration with members of like-minded veteran British acid-house outfit Coil (John Balance and Peter Christopherson), Vértigo De Lodo Y Miel (Vertigo of Mud and Honey) delves into nearly two decades of ambient dance sounds, recalling moments of '80s industrial techno ("Abzeichnen") and melodic pop grooves. The dreamy "SSW" and "FM Road" feature guest vocalists Chuy Picos and Iaia Morfin (Nona Delichas). Adhering to the Nimboestatic aesthetic of ethereal moods and textures, Vértigo brings an avant-garde, futurist feel to the table, defiantly proving it's light years away from most Latin alternative fare.
